“Space the final frontier” ! “To go , where no man has gone before” ! Those words at the beginning of each episode , have been cut and pasted in to our minds for generations now . To bring William Shatner back , would be a treat , his authoritative voice and demeanor , add to the class of all Trekkie’s .
Time travel is possible in the movies , so bringing Captain Kirk back , would present no problem . William Shatner , would have to make that final decision him self . I liked him as the Admiral , in the last few movies . He gave the character presence and projected humanity in deep space . The ambassador to our planet , the soft spoken , mature , kick ass character he portrayed , has been missed in the series episodes .
After all , Spock said it best ,”The needs of the many , out weigh the needs of the few”! Most of the original cast are still alive . To have this American treasure and not use it , would be heart breaking and non-American . William Shatner , deserves more than doing commercials on TV . He is and always will be Captain Kirk , to his many fans .
For those of us , that have followed William Shatners career . No other character fit except , William Shatner . Making a movie with out him at the helm of the Enterprise , would be a terrible loss . To the many young kids today , that are looking for true hero’s , there are not many left . With that said , bring him back , lets take the adventure to some strange galaxy again and relive our youth one more time , with our grand children .(REVISED)
