The Television series Battlestrar Galactica tells the story of the remaining human survivors of the Cylons attack, who were on the run and searching for a place in the galaxy to hide from their humanoid creation that are determine to destroy any remaining traces of human existence; Humans created the Cylons to serve as workers in their society. The Cylons rebelled against their human masters, and then disappeared to another part of the galaxy. They developed superior technology to help them survive. They took on human forms; they designed five models of Cylons. Each model had the ability to regenerate itself, if in range of its incubator or mother ship. The Cylons constantly experimented to discover ways to become as human as their creators are. Except for possessing superior strength to us, they wanted to have all other human qualities.

The humans, after discovering the Cylons’ new location, gathered new intelligence on the Cylons’ activities; then decided to attack them in order to reduce the Cylons’ technological capabilities. However, the Cylons survived the pre-emptive attack. The Cylons attacked the human home bases. The Cylons destroyed the human society, leaving hundreds of millions dead, or unable to survive after the attack. Now the only survivors in a fleet, guided by a single battle ship (Battlestrar Galactica) and its crew, with 50 thousand survivors are on the run, in an uncertain journey, from the Cylons.

Battlestar Galactica has gritty politically charged plots and sub plots riddling each episode. Its social and cultural dramas matching any thing you have seen or heard on earth; hardly bizarre, but perplexingly odd, and unexpected characters show up in each episode. Eccentric certainly, and deep until your mind is entangled in an emotional and mental maze with each one that you feel for deep in the heart of your mind. You will be hooked forever went you see this series. You will want more; and you won’t make plans for your Friday nights if it’s a BG night… Each episode just keeps raving up the intensity. Battlestar Galactica is everything on earth that you want to see.

Seasons 1, 2, and 3 are over. If you missed each one, you can still see them on DVD or maybe you can catch a few re-runs on SCIFI TV. If not, just search the Web for the series and you will surely find it. In early January 08 expected Season 4; the waiting is on. This is a setback to the series; but as the saying goes, “good things come to those who wait.” The producers are in no hurry to bring a dreary series any time soon. Apparently, they get it right taking their time, three consecutive seasons already. Can you blame them? The majority of their fan-base wants quality versus quantity, or for that matter no half-baked pudding.

Look forward to this season. It ranks high in the top ten shows TV can offer. It could be the number one adventure and drama on TV. Hardly any other show comes to mind that matches quality, or spell bounding adventure and drama, well maybe Stargate Atlantis, this season is equal in its own rights to BG. However, BG’s excitement just builds with the coming of each season. Remember the date and time, January 08, Battlestar Galactica, season 4, the grant finale.
